Amit Shah on Tuesday oozed confidence in Droupadi Murmu's victory in the
presidential polls and said her candidature was an important moment for the country and yet another gesture of PM Modi's resolve to empower tribals and women.
"Today is a very important moment for the country when NDA under the leadership of
Narendra Modi and JP Nadda has announced Droupadi Murmu for the presidency. This decision will work to take tribal pride to new heights," he tweeted.
