Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 11:15AM

Agro Phos(up 4.96%), Aries Agro(up 4.29%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.33%), & Petrochemicals(up 2.60%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.32%) and Coromandel International(up 0.21%) were among the top gainers.

Madras Fertlizers(down 3.59%), & Chemicals(down 3.16%), & Fertilizers(down 2.87%), G S F C(down 2.66%), & Fertilizers(down 2.62%), National Fertilizer(down 2.13%), Fertilizers (down 1.72%), KRISHANA(down 1.67%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.29%) and ZUARIAGRO(down 0.89%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 148.85 points down at 15489.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 443.17 points at 52088.9 at around 11:15AM.

Hero MotoCorp(up 2.01%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.44%), Tata Consultancy(up 1.05%), Bajaj Auto(up 0.64%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.63%), Infosys(up 0.3%) and Hindustan Unilever(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd(down 5.3%), Hindalco Industries(down 4.98%), JSW Steel(down 3.79%), Tata Steel(down 3.57%), Titan Company Ltd(down 2.75%), SBI Life(down 2.46%), & Special Economic Zone(down 2.46%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.44%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.43%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 2.37%) were trading in the red.
