‘Please come home, I will be very happy’

MYSURU: During an interaction with some beneficiaries of central government schemes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday made the day of a woman from Mandya when he asked her whether she will host him for a meal. A thrilled Yashoda Suresh said she would gladly host the PM.
Tailor Ambika from Suleripalya gram panchayat in Chamarajanagar, a beneficiary of 10 central government schemes, thanked the PM emotionally. At that time PM Modi asked her whether she can stitch his kurta. She replied yes after becoming emotional again. She stated that she was very happy to meet the PM and it is the golden day of her life.

The PM politely declined. Sandeep, a farmer who grows ornamental flowers in Malavalli, said he provides jobs for 50 people. “But today artificial flowers flood the market. It is affecting growers,” he told the PM.
