SOA gets A++ grade in NAAC assessment

This accreditation will be valid for seven years with effect from May 10 this year. The institution got a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.88 out of 4.00. A seven-member NAAC peer team had visited the institution for three days last month to make its assessment, official sources said.
The institute had received ‘A’ grade twice earlier in 2009 and 2015 in the old grading system. The new grading system for assessment became effective from April, 2017.
The Bhubaneswar-based institution had received 20th rank in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) system last year. It has also figured in the QS World University Rankings for 2023 and Times Higher Education (THE) World Rankings for 2022, said the statement issued by the SOA.
