Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 3.65%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.

Shares of DLF(up 5.56 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 5.13 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 4.94 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 4.48 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 3.61 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises(down 1.41 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 3.65 per cent up at 384.3.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 288.65 points at 15638.8, while the BSE Sensex stood up 934.23 points at 52532.07.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 49 ended in the green, while 1 closed in the red.

Shares of , , , NTPC and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Globesecure Technologies Ltd., Rachana Infrastructure Ltd., ., Globe Intl. Carriers and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Fidel ., Future Consumer, and KN Agri . hit their fresh 52-week lows.
