Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are ironing out their issues behind the scenes.
According to E! News, the exes – who share 5-year-old daughter Dream Kardashian – have settled the revenge porn lawsuit brought against Kardashian in the aftermath of a July 2017 social media rant out of court.
Per the publication, a settlement was reached shortly before Kardashian was due to appear in front of Judge Gregory Alarcon at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles. Jury selection was set for Monday, with a three-to-five-day trial expected to follow.
Chyna first initiated legal proceedings against Rob after he posted sexually explicit photos of her on his Instagram and Twitter. At the time, Chyna requested and was granted a temporary restraining order.
According to Page Six, Robert Shapiro, the attorney who represented Kardashian at the time, subsequently issued an apology on behalf of his client.
"I personally, on Robert Kardashian’s behalf, apologised and offered our regrets for what has taken place in the past couple of days, and now we move forward to do one thing and one thing only: whatever’s in the best interest of this child," Shapiro said at the time, referring to Dream.
The settlement comes after a separate legal battle in which Chyna sued the entire Kardashian family for defamation.
After a two-week trial, a judge at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles ruled that the Kardashian/Jenner family were cleared of all the key questions. As a result, no monetary damages were awarded to Chyna.
