Effort will be made to open 'yogshalas' in all Haryana villages: Anil Vij

AMBALA: Haryana home and health minister Anil Vij said on Tuesday that effort will be made to open Yogshala (Yoga centres) in every village of Haryana and so far, one thousand Yogshalas have been made.
Anil Vij was speaking at the eighth International Yoga Day event organised at War Heroes Memorial Stadium, Ambala Cantonment.
"The Haryana government is continuously working to promote yoga and therefore, Yog Aayog (commission) was constituted. There are perhaps one or two states in the country which have Yog Aayog", said Anil Vij.
Vij said if there are no yoga centres then it can be done in parks and dharamshalas and the government is making efforts for the same.

The Indian Army’s Kharga Corps celebrated the eighth International Yoga Day at Ambala, Chandigarh, Patiala and Meerut military stations on a grand scale.
The mega event was attended by officers, soldiers and their families with full enthusiasm and zeal.
