Gujarat: Jeweller cheated of ₹14.18 lakh

RAJKOT: A jeweller has accused a businessman of cheating him of Rs 14.18 lakh. Victim Bhavesh Parekh, who has a jewellery shop in Soni Bazar, lodged a complaint naming Milap Soni, owner of Shree Ram Jewellers. On March 24, Soni had placed an order of gold earrings worth Rs 14.68 lakh with Parekh and paid him Rs 50,000 in advance. He reneged on the promise to pay him to pay once the earrings were delivered.
