Karnataka: Complaint over KPTCL chopping trees

BENGALURU: An assistant executive engineer with BBMP, Yelahanka, has filed a criminal complaint against his Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation counterpart, accusing the person of causing loss to the civic body by cutting trees and dumping them on pavement.
HP Sachin, AEE-Yelahanka New Town sub-division, identified the accused as “KPTCL engineer”.
Sachin stated in the complaint that BBMP had planted saplings but on the night of June 13, KPTCL staff axed a couple of trees and dumped the branches and logs on the pavement and grills, damaging them.
