Kerala state higher secondary and vocational higher secondary examination results for the year 2022 have been announced. The pass percentage this year stands at 83.87 % for higher secondary and 78.26 % for the vocational higher secondary. The results have been announced by the state general education minister V Sivankutty here at 11 am on Tuesday. There is a notional slip on the percentage of students who became eligible for higher studies this time.

While the pass percentage of 2021 stood at 99.47 for higher secondary last year, the same was 87.94 % in the VHSE stream. Of the 426469 students appeared for higher secondary exam, 4 23 303 have been rendered eligible for higher studies. The total number of candidates appears for VHSE exam was 29711. Of this 23251 have became eligible for higher studies.

At the same time, the number of students who bagged A Plus for all subjects plummeted this time. The all A Plus holders in higher secondary is 44 363 against the last year's figure 1 25 509.
The stream wise result break of hugger secondary are the following. Science : pass percentage -86.14, humanities-75.61, commerce: 85.69, technical higher secondary-68.71, higher secondary( Arts) : 86.57.
