TN state board Class 10, 12 results: When and how to apply for retotalling, re-evaluation

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Class X and XII students can apply for retotalling and re-evaluation of answer scripts from June 22 to 29, the directorate of government examinations announced on Tuesday.

“Students can apply through their schools and private candidates can apply through their exam centres,” a release said.

For retotalling of answer scripts, Class X and XII students should pay Rs 205 a subject. For Class XII biology, students have to pay Rs 305.

For re-evaluation, students need to apply for copy of the answer script. Those who apply for a copy of answer scripts alone are eligible to apply for re-evaluation. The fee for getting a copy of the answer script for a subject is Rs 275.
The DGE also announced that the students can download the temporary marksheets from the website www.dge.tn.gov.in starting June 24.


The state board Class X and XII results were declared on June 20. While 93.8% cleared the Class XII exam, 90% cleared the Class X exam.
