Pamela Ong Appointed GM of Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town

(20 June 2022, 10:30 +07)  The Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town has promoted Pamela Ong from the position of Hotel Manager to General Manager.

A highly skilled hospitality professional with more than two decades of experience in Southeast Asia, Pamela has a proven track record of strong leadership and delivering positive results.

Pamela first joined Marriott International in 2001 as Director of Sales & Marketing of Miri Marriott Resort & Spa in Malaysia, before transferring to The Stones Hotel - Legian Bali, Autograph Collection in Indonesia.

Pamela moved to Thailand in 2017, initially as Director of Sales & Marketing at two properties – Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit and Marriott Executive Apartments Bangkok, Sukhumvit Thonglor – before being promoted to the key role of Hotel Manager with Le Méridien Chiang Mai.

Having moved to Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town in 2020, Pamela oversaw the successful opening of the property as Hotel Manager before achieving her first General Manager’s role.

Pamela completed her Marriott Elevate General Manager program in 2018 and is also a BMSC Sales University certified trainer.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, exploring new cultures and spending time with her family.
