Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 13.47 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 11.20 crore), Future Consumer (numbers of share traded: 7.40 crore), SAIL(numbers of share traded: 5.15 crore), NTPC(numbers of share traded: 5.14 crore), (numbers of share traded: 5.12 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.61 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 4.04 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.93 crore) and JP Power(numbers of share traded: 3.79 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 288.65 points up at 15638.8, while BSE Sensex ended up 934.23 points at 52532.07.

On the other hand, .(down 0.09 per cent), .(down 0.03 per cent), .(down 0.14 per cent), .(down 0.34 per cent) and .(down 0.41 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
