Bokaro trader shot at by 2, out of danger

Bokaro: Two unidentified assailants barged into the house of a city-based businessman and shot at him from close range on Saturday evening.
Pawan Kumar (44), a resident of Sector 12 area in BSL Township, was at home when two masked men arrived in a motorcycle around 6:30pm.
“They came straight inside my office-cum-residence. I went towards them but one of them pulled out a pistol and shot at me. The bullet hit me in the shoulder and I fell. The two fled on the bike,” he told TOI on Sunday.
Sector 12 police station in-charge Jai Govind Gupta said a FIR has been lodged against unidentified men. “Investigations are underway to ascertain their identity and arrest them,” he added.
A profusely-bleeding Kumar was rushed to the Bokaro General Hospital. Doctors declared him out of danger after they operated upon him and removed the bullet.
