According to the police, Amit’s car collided with Sumit Dahiya’s car near Medanta hospital following which both got into an argument. Sumit was being accompanied by Jatin Ahlawat. The argument escalated and both called their friends to join the fight. The complainant, Abhishek Yadav, had received a call from his brother, Digvijay Yadav informing him that their friend, Jatin, has gotten into a fight. Following the call, Yadavs along with a friend, Mohit Kataria left for Sector 38 where they joined Jatin and Sumit.
“Once we reached, Jatin, Sumit and I went to Amit who was joined by Narpender, Surender and Bijender. Amit started abusing and threatening us,” Abhishek told the cops. As per Abhishek, Amit directly shot him in the upper side of the chest. “Another shot was fired by Narpender, which we escaped and the bullet passed over our head. We started screaming for help, after which people gathered and I was immediately taken to Sector 10 hospital and later referred to Medanata hospital where I am recovering.”
