Aviation regulator DGCA ordered a probe after 3 flight scare in one day involving SpiceJet and IndiGo airlines. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) initiated the probe after fire reported in a Delhi-bound SpiceJet aircraft after take-off from Patna and two other air incidents, involving the IndiGo and SpiceJet flights. the SpiceJet airlines carrying 185 passengers caught fire soon after taking off from the Patna airport on Sunday and made an emergency landing minutes later. Another SpiceJet flight for Jabalpur had to return to Delhi due to a 'pressurisation' issue. In the third incident, Guwahati to Delhi IndiGo flight returned to Guwahati after suffering a bird hit in which one of the engines got damaged.
