Video showing PM Narendra Modi picking up trash at newly inaugurated Pragati Maidan tunnel goes viral

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday picked up the litter at the newly launched Pragati Maidan Integrated Transit Corridor while walking through a tunnel.
A video and two photographs, which have gone viral on social media, show Modi picking up an empty water bottle and other pieces of trash while inspecting the tunnel.


In October 2019, in a video shared on Twitter, the PM was seen “plogging” at a beach Mamallapuram picking up plastic bottles, plates and other garbage.
Plogging involves runners (or walkers) picking up trash along the way, or after their run/walk, and disposing it off responsibly.
