Tamil Nadu Class 10 results 2022 declared: 90.07% pass, 5% less compared to 2019

CHENNAI: The pass percentage of Tamil Nadu state board Class X students has come down by 5% compared to their performance in the previous board exam held in 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic.

The exam results was released at noon on Monday.

Of 9,12, 620 students who appeared for the exam, 8,21,994 cleared the exam. The pass percentage is 90.07%.

The pass percentage among girls is 94.38% while 85.83% of boys cleared the exam. In 2019, 95.2% cleared the exam.
Out of 12,714 schools, 4,006 schools have got 100% results and 886 of them were government schools.

In science subject, 3,841 students have got full marks and 2186 students got centums in maths. In social science, 1009 students got centums while in English, 45 students got centums. Only one student got centum in Tamil.
In English, 96.18% students cleared the exam which is highest among the five subjects.

As many as 42,519 students were absent for the exams.

Students will receive their results through SMS on their registered mobile numbers. They can also check results on the following websites:

Students have to register their roll number and date birth to know their scores from the websites.
