BENGALURU: CCB police arrested a 26-year-old Nigerian for allegedly selling MDMA in the city. They seized 8 grams of the drug from him.
The accused is John Nero, a resident of Thirumenahalli near Sampigehalli.
According to police, Nero came to India on a student visa eight years ago. He took admission for BE with the distance education department of Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, but discontinued studies and took to crime.
Police received information that Nero was coming to Vidyaranyapura area to sell MDMA. A team headed by inspector Mohammed Mukarram rushed to the spot and arrested him. The cops seized 8 grams of MDMA, a laptop and two mobile phones from him. tnn
