CBSE students demand ‘best of either term’ board results

Nagpur: CBSE students from Std X and XII have taken to Twitter to press for the demand of having board results declared on ‘best of either term’ basis, rather than the current plan to include marks of both terms. This year, CBSE conducted its board exams in two terms. Term-I was held in November/December while term-II concluded this month.
The current plan of the central board is to calculate final marks based on performance of students in both terms and the practical exams.
On Twitter, @mishra_anurag12 wrote, “Schools didn’t work properly. Many students parents lost their jobs some even lost their parents still exams were held twice. And now weightage will be in favour of some students...”
@ShivamS16813307 wrote, “Most of the CBSE students including me are demanding Best of either terms subjectwise as lots of experiments were done on us. Now it's about our life and future. We want #BestOfEitherTermsSubjectWise.”
User @UrHimanshuBorah appealed to his peers, saying, “Students now our movement is in peak, it's very important that we come under same umbrella”.
@SHANTANUKALEPA1 wrote, “We don't want cbse to give unequal Weightage to term 1 and term 2.”
@VoraIqra wrote, “Please CBSE it’s a request please choose #BestOfEitherTermsSubjectWise #BestOfEitherTerms as it will be helpful for every student. After so much experiment on 2021-2022 batch this is the only fair thing we want #BestOfEitherTerms”.
@shivamrajpatna1 tweeted, “#BestOfEitherTermsSubjectWise will be give benefits to all the CBSE 10 & 12th students. It's the best method of evaluation. Kindly consider this and give a relief to these students with whom you have done experiments whole year”.

TOI tried to get an official reaction from CBSE, but till the time of filing this report there was no response.
