JAIPUR: Train movement was affected from four stations of the North Western Railway on Saturday due to students protest against Agnipath, said officials. Mobs of around 40-50 people vandalised railway property at the stations, said officials from NWR.
Captain Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer for NWR said, “Train movements were disrupted, and vandalism was reported from Ajarka railway station between Rewari and Alwar, Mahendargarh station in Bikaner division, Benar station in Jaipur division and Sadulpur railway station.”
Trains have been cancelled in view of soil erosion due to heavy rain and student agitation between Tangla and Harisinga railway sections on Rangiya division of Northeast Frontier Railway and Jamunamukh and Jugijan sections of Lumding division.
