Covid tally in Lucknow goes up, 94 test positive

LUCKNOW: Rise in Covid-19 cases continued with 94 people testing positive for the infection while 63 patients recovered from disease in the last 24 hours, taking the active case count to 478.
Highest 14 cases each were reported from Aliganj and Chinhat followed by Kaiserbagh (13), Indiranagar (11), Alambagh (10), Sarojininagar (9), Oldcity (6), Malihabad (4), Turiyaganj (3).
Meanwhile, the health department directed hospitals to conduct a mock drill to prepare themselves in case of exponential growth in cases.
District surveillance officer Dr Milind Wardhan said, “Managing a Covid patient is different from a normal patient as the staff has to make sure they do not break Covid protocol.”
