LHB rake will be provided for some SWR trains

Hubballi: As per an SWR release, out of four rakes, two will be provided with Linke Hofman Busch (LHB) coaches in place of conventional coaches. The first and second rakes of train No. 16591 SSS Hubballi-Mysuru-Hampi Daily Express will be provided with LHB coaches from June 23 and 24 from SSS Hubballi, respectively. The first and second rakes of 16592 Mysuru-SSS Hubballi-Hampi Daily Express will be provided with LHB coaches from June 26 and 27 from Mysuru, respectively. For train No. 16535 Mysuru-Solapur Golgumbaz Daily Express, the first and second rakes will be provided with LHB coaches from June 24 and 25 from Mysuru, respectively. On June 25 and 26, the first and second rake of train No. 16536 Solapur-Mysuru Golgumbaz Daily Express will be provided with LHB coaches in place of conventional coaches from June 25 and 26 from Solapur, respectively. The aforesaid trains will run with a revised composition: one AC 2-tier coach, three AC 3-tier coaches, 12 second-class sleeper coaches, three second-class Antodaya coaches and two luggage-cum-brake vans with generator (21 coaches in all).
Meet on management
Dharwad: The Kousali Institute of Management Studies (KIMS), Karnatak University, Dharwad, will organise a the two-day national-level conference in management titled “Recent Trends in Economy, Business and Management” on June 21 and 22 at the Dharwad Regional Science Centre here. KIMS director A M Kadakol and organising secretary N Ramanjaneyalu told reporters here on Saturday that the objective of the conference is to unleash recent developments in Indian business environment like digital currency, crypto currency, Covid-19 pandemic disturbances and India’s thrust to reach to 5 trillion-dollar economy. Experts will present papers on financial management, marketing management, human resources management and IT and general management stream. Delegates from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will participate. Dr Pawankumar Singh, director IIM-Tiruchinapalli, will deliver the keynote address and inaugurate the conference.
Yoga Day in Hubballi
Hubballi: Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti, in collaboration with Yoga Sparsh Pratishthan, will celebrate Yoga Day on June 21 at Glass House here. Programme organiser Suresh Savalagi told reporters here on Saturday Yoga Day will be held at Mahatma Gandhi Park in the city at 6.15am. Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City managing director Shakeel Ahmed will be the chief guest for the event which may see 1,000 people in attendance. Sparsh Pratishthan president Dayanand Magajikondi and others were present.
