Rajasthan: Congress plays politics over national policies, says Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore

MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore addresses the media at BJP headquarters in city on Saturday.
JAIPUR: Reacting to chief minister Ashok Gehlot’s resolution against Agnipath scheme, Jaipur MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that Congress has questioned the armed forces and national policies by their move.
“Congress chose petty local politics over national policies. They have yet again shown their true colours by holding a cabinet meeting to pass a resolution against the scheme,” said Rathore.
Calling Gehlot not a politician but a political creature, he said, “The person cannot use his pen to reduce the VAT on fuel or stop communal violence in home turf Jodhpur. Instead of stopping the violence, the statements he gave were intended to disrupt the law and order in the country.”
He said they would have welcomed it had the resolution been passed on unemployment, Jal Jeevan Mission, security of women and Dalitss. “They don’t care for Yuvas (youths), they only care for their Yuvraj (prince). He (Gehlot) comes from a party which had abused the chief of the armed forces. Former PM Jawaharlal Nehru had once told that India doesn’t need armed forces,” said Rathore.
