Rain likely in Ahmedabad today

AHMEDABAD: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain towards Sunday evening or night in Ahmedabad. Temperatures remained high with a maximum of 39.9 degrees on Saturday, 1.6 degrees higher than normal.
On Saturday, Dhandhuka in Ahmedabad district got 33mm of rain till 8 pm, Dholka got 14mm and Bavla 7mm. The city experienced cloudy weather mainly.
Met officials said the trough from southwest Rajasthan to the central Arabian Sea will positively affect the monsoon in the state.
