Anita had married SR Mahesh in 1993 after completing her high school education. Now, she is dreaming of pursuing higher studies. She has also learned music and Hindi.
“We were three girl siblings. I had studied up to SSLC and then married in the year 1993. I always wanted to study. So, I completed my Hindi Praveena. Now, I want to pursue higher education in any of the universities. For this, clearing the II PUC examination is must. So, I decided to write the examination,” she told STOI.
“It was challenging to clear the examination. My children helped me in languages. I prepared notes regularly. I thank my husband, and family for all their support,” she said.
SR Mahesh informed that his wife had sacrificed a lot for the family. “She ensured that my children pursued good education. I was always too busy with my social service. If I leave home in the morning, I would return only late in the evening,” the MLA explained.
