RANCHI: Thousands of students, preparing for the June 26 entrance test to enroll into the free Akanksha-40 coaching classes, have availed the phone numbers of teachers circulated by the Jharkhand education department to clear their doubts from June 10 till Saturday. The 23 teachers have received over 200 calls on a daily bais from aspirants residing in different districts across the state.
Akanksha-40 helps the aspirants of medical, engineering, CLAT and NDA courses to prepare for the entrance exams.

Vinay Kumar Singh said, “Students contact the teachers even outside the scheduled 9:30am-11:30am time,” adding the teachers imaprt lessons in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English, General knowledge, General studies, and Mental ability.
Madan Mohan Tiwary, a teacher, said, “Students are practising the Akanksha-40 entrance test sample questions.”
Ankit Kumar, a student from Bokaro, said, “Though our doubts are cleared over the phone or WhatsApp, it would be more beneficial if these could be cleared on video platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom.”
Akanksha-40 has 75 seats for medical and engineering competitive exam aspirants and 50 each for CLAT and NDA. The state government started the registration process for the entrance exam of Akanksha -40 on April 18 and the last date of registration was May 20. This year, 2,338 candidates have registered for engineering seats, while 2,480 for medical, and 1,323 for CLAT.
