Agnipath row: Agitating youths get Rashtriya Loktantrik Party president Hanuman Beniwal support

Hanuman Beniwal has demanded the central government roll back the recruitment scheme or else the youths will bring down the government.
JAIPUR: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) has opposed the Centre’s Agnipath scheme by extending its support to agitating youths.
RLP president Hanuman Beniwal in a press conference held in Jaipur on Saturday warned the Congress government not to take any action against the protesting students while announcing to hold statewide protests starting from Jodhpur on July 27.
He demanded the central government roll back the recruitment scheme or else the youths will bring down the government.
“I appeal to the state and the Centre that they should not file any case against the protesters. Neither they are politicians nor criminals. If a case is filed against them will spoil their career. They are sons of poor farmers who are fighting for their rights. I also appeal to them they should not resort to violence and follow the non-violent means of protest,” said Beniwal.
He said 75% of the youths who will be forced to retire/leave after serving 4 years in the Army will become vulnerable to antisocial activities.
“The 75% youths who will not make it into the army after four years will be enticed by Naxalites and could lead to gang wars to divide the nation. The youth knowing that he must serve four years in the service will never develop a dedication to the nation. Neither he will obey the orders, nor he will respect the seniors. It will lead to indiscipline in the forces and that 25% who made into forces will try to keep their seniors happy,” said Beniwal.
He took the credit for extending the minimum age from 21 to 23 for the job in military service while accusing the centre of implementing their agenda of finishing the regiments named after marshal communities.
