South Mumbai: Over 1 crore fake watches seized in raid

Mumbai: A crime branch control police team led by inspector Nitin Patil have seized counterfeit watches of various premium brands such as Fossil, Michael Kors and Giorgia Armaani, worth over Rs 1.06 crore, after raiding several shops at Manish Market and Al-Saba Market in south Mumbai.
As many as five shopkeepers have been booked, and a case under various sections of the Copyright and Trademark Act has been registered at the MRA Marg police station. The police had received an application from one Anup Kolap, company representative of IP Investigation and Detective Services pvt. ltd., about the same.
