NEW DELHI: BJP chief J P Nadda on Thursday interacted with
Singapore’s foreign affairs minister
Vivian Balakrishnan at the party headquarters on Thursday.
Balakrishnan is in India for a special meeting of the India-Asean foreign ministers in Delhi.
“It was an honour to interact with the minister for foreign affairs of Singapore, Dr @VivianBala today at our party headquarters in New Delhi. We discussed about strengthening the India-Singapore strategic partnership and other events both domestic and international,” Nadda said in a tweet. “The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen the India-Singapore strategic partnership, in-charge of BJP’s foreign affairs department, Vijay Chauthaiwala, said.
He said this was a continued effort of the BJP to reach out to the international community including politicians as well as other dignitaries about what the party stands for and its rise over the years. The Singaporean external affairs minister is on an official visit to India for bilateral and multilateral discussions with the government of India.
