Vadodara: EME Circle gets a fresh look

‘Soldier Craftsman’ depicted
VADODARA: The famous EME Circle on the VIP Road has been renovated and will be a prominent landmark of Vadodara representing the Indian army. The circle made from sponsorship given by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) is a tribute to EME School which has been a part of the city since its establishment in 1963.
The theme of the EME Circle depicts the ‘Soldier Craftsman’ wherein an EME soldier has been depicted with a weapon in one hand and the EME crest with a globe on the other hand signifying the tasks that EME exploiting technology, engineering and technical skills in maintaining the combat edge of the Indian Army.
EME School officials said that the circle will be reflective of the patriotic ethos and respect for the soldier. It will also serve as a motivation to the young residents of Vadodara to join the Indian Army.
