An Amber Alert has been issued by New Hampshire State Police in the early hours of Friday regarding the abduction of two children from Somersworth by their biological mother.

According to the police, the two children aged 11 and 8 years called Alaina Wilson and Chance went missing on Thursday at around 9:45 p.m.

The children were living with their grandmother at the Colonial Village Park in Somersworth where they were reportedly seen for the last time.

Investigation revealed that the two were abducted by their biological mother, Kaileigh Nichols, aged 32 years. She managed to take them out of the house from a window leaving behind Alaina’s phone on her bed.

The three are believed to have left in gray colored Honda Civic Car with license plate number 2827A. The car belongs to a relative in Maine from where Nichols borrowed it. The 2009 Honda Civic was spotted at a school event the same day in Somersworth.

The detailed description of the three as released by the Investigators are mentioned below:

  • Alaina weighs 96 pounds and stands 5 feet 2 inches tall. She is white and the color of her hair and eyes is brown.
  • Chance weighs 68 pounds and stands 4 feet 6 inches tall. He is white and the color of his hair and eyes is brown.
  • Nichols weighs 125 pounds and stands 5 feet 1 inch tall. Her hair and eyes are brown.
  • Kaileigh allegedly is said to have mental health problems and is also a drug addict.
Whoever spots any of them should immediately report to the Somersworth Police at (603) 692-3131.
