In the latest episode of Living the Dream with Somizi actor Palesa Madisakwane addressed why she felt her eldest daughter's father disrespected her womb.

"This person is not only disrespecting my family, but I felt like you disrespected my womb," Madisakwane said in the episode which aired on Wednesday. Madisakwane and Somizi Mhlongo were talking about the ongoing matter of changing their daughter, Bahumi's surname.

Madisakwane said she felt the veteran entertainer disrespected her womb and family when he said that the matter related to the changing of Bahumi’s surname was prolonged because he reportedly did not have time. "Does it come to your mind that this womb, this woman, gave you a child?" the mother of Mhlongo's only child asked.

Despite saying he did not have time, Mhlongo admitted that his daughter changing her surname was important to him because Bahumi deserved it, and he needed to honour her. "I need to do right by her," Mhlongo said.

Despite Mhlongo saying that he did not like serious things in a confessional, the meeting between the co-parents ended with them agreeing that the traditional rights and ceremony for Bahumi's surname change would be completed in the "next three months." The Idols SA judge also thanked Madisakwane for their daughter.

"Thank you for your womb," he said.
