Gujarat: 27 new Covid-19 cases reported in Vadodara city and district

VADODARA: Twenty-seven new Covid-19 cases were reported in the city and district from 2,003 tests conducted in the 24 hours ending on Friday evening.
The new cases include 25 from the city and two from areas of the district outside city limits.
West zone of the city continued to throw up the highest number of cases in the city with 15 persons here testing positive. Four cases were reported from the north zone while three cases each were reported from the east and south zone of the city.
After the discharge of 18 patients on Friday, the number of active cases stood at 157. The number of active cases has been rising since the last couple of days. The active cases include seven persons who needed hospitalisation.
