Supreme Court Judge MR Shah falls ill in Himachal, airlifted to Delhi

Supreme Court Judge Justice M R Shah was airlifted to Delhi after falling sick in Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. According to the information, Justice Shah suffered some discomfort in the chest.

Later, in a short video clip recorded in Shimla before being airlifted to Delhi, the judge said, “By the grace of God, I am Ok, I am stable. Nothing to worry. I am reaching Delhi. And you can see me. You can watch. By the grace of God I had…five darshans yesterday and the day before. Thereafter, I am leaving with all blessings on me and my family. God bless everybody, me also…tomorrow, day after tomorrow, I will be Ok.”

In Delhi, Chief Justice of India visited Justice Shah at the Escorts Hospital and enquired about his health from doctors.

Justice Shah had presided over a vacation bench in the top court last week. — PTI Inputs
