Bhubaneswar: A standing committee of the assembly has asked the transport department to intensify the enforcement drive against drink driving as a large number of accidents occur because of driving under the influence of alcohol.
“On receiving the assembly panel’s instruction, we have asked the regional transport officers and police to launch joint enforcement drives. Besides, a special drive will be launched those riding two-wheelers without helmets,” a transport department official said. The amended
