Woman, 2 kids found hanging

Daltonganj: A 27-year-old woman and her two children were founded hanging at their Basoura village residence under Lesliganj police station in Palamu on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Rinki Devi and her two children — a four-year-old boy and a two-and-half-year-old girl.
Lesliganj police station OC Gautam Roy said, “Rinki’s husband had died three years ago. She and her children were living with her father-in-law Ram Peeyari Singh and mother-in-law Karo Devi. Ram had recently gone to Gujarat to eke out a living.”
“Karo had reportedly gone to a nearby village market area during the time of incident. She found the house locked from inside upon her return and called a few local boys for help when her repeated knocks on the door yielded no result. The locals broke the door and found the bodies,” he said, adding that prima facie, the police isn’t suspecting any foul play. tnn
