JAIPUR: Surprise inspections would now be conducted of ongoing works under
Magra area development plan and board meetings would be held every two months, said chairman of Magra area development board Laxman
Singh Rawat. The Magra scheme is being run in five districts of the state - Ajmer,
Bhilwara,
Pali, Rajsamand, and Chittorgarh.
Rawat also gave instructions to the district collectors to ensure timely monitoring of ongoing works being conducted under the scheme. He said that all the ongoing works under the scheme should be completed within one-and-a-half years. He said he was also trying his best to increase the budget allocation for the scheme. The budget allocation for this financial year has been fixed at Rs 19.23 crore.
