Jaipur: JMC-Greater Mayor
Somya Gurjar visited
ward No. 124 in Jagatpura zone on Wednesday and announced that special budgetary provisions would be made for development of the wards situated on the outskirts.
Areas between
Agra Road and Goner Road come, which come under Ward No. 124, are situated on the outskirts of the city and do not have sewerage lines, proper roads and enough streetlights. The mayor and officials of JMC-Greater are visiting different parts of the city to listen to the problems of the people first hand as part of the ongoing ‘Nigam Aapke Dwar’ campaign.
“Our area does not have a sewer line, and people have septic tanks that are cleaned every 15 days. People have to spend their own money for this cleaning up. We told about our problems to the mayor and requested for relief. Since our ward is situated on the outskirts, the administration is not responsive enough to our needs,” said
Vimala Sharma, councillor of Ward No. 124. tnn
