Two more pairs of MEMU trains to be run between Coimbatore Junction and Mettupalayam

COIMBATORE: The Salem Railway Division has included two additional pairs to the existing three services of the unreserved MEMU express special trains operated between Coimbatore junction and Mettupalayam.
Starting June 20 (Monday), numbers 06814 and 06822 trains will leave Coimbatore Junction at 11.50am and 8.25pm respectively.
Similarly, numbers 06815 and 06823 trains will leave Mettupalayam at 1.05pm and 7.15pm, respectively.
Sources said the move would cater to the increased patronage for the MEMU trains.
