BENGALURU: CID sleuths probing the police sub-inspector recruitment exam arrested a sub-inspector on charges of acting as a middleman between candidates and the accused who had tampered with OMR sheets.
Harish K, in his 30s, is attached with Byadarahalli police station, west division. He is in 10-day police custody.
A candidate from the 2019 batch of SIs, Harish is from Chikkakalya village in Magadi. CID officials said Harish helped three candidates secure more marks.
