Showcause notice to Ranchi SSP for pasting posters

RANCHI: The principal secretary (home, prison and disaster management), Rajiv Arun Ekka, on Wednesday night issued a show-cause notice to Ranchi SSP Surindra Kumar Jha, seeking an explanation as to why the photographs of people, allegedly associated with causing violence in the city on Friday, were pasted in the form of posters at the city’s main squares. He has been given two days to file his reply.
