Congress will march towards
Raj Bhavan on Thursday to protest against the ongoing questioning of their leader
Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with National Herald money laundering cases and police action on scores of
party leaders during a dharna at Congress’s national headquarters in Delhi on Wednesday.
Sources said several key leaders who were leading the dharna and protests at the party headquarters have also been detained by police, prompting the party high command to direct all the states to gherao respective Raj Bhavans on Thursday. The party workers have been directed to assembly at Gandhi Vatika in Morhabadi.
Congress spokesperson Rakesh Sinha said, “Party workers from 24 districts will participate in the march to Raj Bhavan.”
