SGPC to go to court over Kiran Bedi’s Sikh remarks

AMRITSAR: Advising IPS officer-turned-BJP leader Kiran Bedi to read Sikh history, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee chief Harjinder Singh Dhami on Wednesday said SGPC would take legal action against her for objectionable remarks against Sikhs.
“Kiran Bedi should read the Sikh history, that how the Sikhs stopped the invaders at 12 O’clock at the time of Abdali’s rule, when they used to invade Hindustan to rob invaluable items and women to sell them off at the Ghazni’s market and that how the Sikhs attacked the invaders and returned the robbed items and women with due respect to their places,” Dhami said.
