Protesters block Delhi-Ajmer route

JAIPUR: Protests broke out on the Delhi-Ajmer highway against the newly launched Agnipath recruitment scheme on Wednesday.
SHO, Kardhani, Banwari Lal Meena, said that the protesters had blocked the highway before the police spoke to them to ensure that vehicular movement is resumed.
“The protesters had gathered on the highway but we had asked them to allow vehicular traffic,” he said.
