JAIPUR:
Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and
Social Sciences which was established in Jaipur to educate, initiate and train youths on Gandhian thinking, ideas, and values will start its formal academic session from July 1.
Initially, only diploma courses on subjects like
Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy, peace and non-violence, decentralisation, and women empowerment will be started, said S N Jha, the officer on special duty at the institute.
On the initiative of chief minister
Ashok Gehlot during the 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Governance and Social Sciences has been established in Jaipur. The objective of the institute is to conduct high-level teaching, training, research and extension programmes. TNN
