KALABURAGI: Five students have been barred from their degree exams in Gulbarga University for alleged malpractices during the exams on Monday.
Vice-chancellor Dayanand Agsar made a surprise visit to the government first-grade college in Sedam where the first-semester undergraduate examinations were on.
Two students were found indulging in malpractices with the help of the principal. After finding out about this, Agsar relieved the principal from the duty of senior supervisor.
The VC visited Dr BR Ambedkar degree college where he found three students writing exams by looking for answers in mobile phones. The VC barred them too.
