    Two LeT militants killed in encounter in J-K

    Two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, police said.     FDA advisers back Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine for older kids

    A government advisory panel Tuesday endorsed a second brand of COVID-19 vaccine for school-age children and teens. The Food and Drug Administration's outside experts voted unanimously that Moderna's vaccine is safe and effective enough to give kids ages 6 to 17. If the FDA agrees, it would become the second option for those children, joining Pfizer's vaccine.

    Iran appeared to be readying for a space launch Tuesday as satellite images showed a rocket on a rural desert launch pad, just as tensions remain high over Tehran's nuclear program. The images from Maxar Technologies showed a launch pad at Imam Khomeini Spaceport in Iran's rural Semnan province, the site of frequent recent failed attempts to put a satellite into orbit.

    Rampur court grants regular bail to SP's Azam Khan

    The regular bail application was filed by the Rampur MLA before the special MP/MLA court of Judge Alok Dubey as per the directions of the Supreme Court. According to the prosecution, Khan was booked for allegedly fraudulently obtaining the affiliation certificate of a branch of Rampur Public School from the basic education authorities.     Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was questioned by the ED for over 11 hours on Tuesday, the second day of his appearance in the National Herald money-laundering case. Gandhi (51) left the Enforcement Directorate (ED) headquarters on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in central Delhi around 11.30 pm. He has been called for questioning again on Wednesday.
