‘Communal strife’: Leave nixed for northwest Delhi cops

NEW DELHI: The leaves of all officers and personnel in the northwest jurisdiction have been cancelled due to the "communal scenario and prevailing law and order situation" in the city.
According to an order by DCP Usha Rangnani, those on leave should immediately report to duty.
Recently, in several parts of the country, communal clashes broke out after a former BJP spokesperson’s remarks against Prophet Muhammad.
