Ludhiana: Youth found murdered on Choti Jawaddi road

LUDHIANA: A youth was found murdered on a road in Choti Jawaddi on Tuesday.
Police said, the deceased, identified as Kuldeep Singh of Jawaddi, had head injuries.
“Kuldeep worked as an agent in court and lived here alone as his parents had died and his three sisters are married. On Monday evening, he had gone out with an acquaintance. It is suspected that after getting drunk, the duo had an argument over some issue and the unidentified accused hit Kuldeep on head with a sharp-edged weapon. He left the body at the spot close to Jawaddi bridge and ran away,” said a cop. In the morning, a passerby spotted it and informed the police.
The body has been shifted to civil hospital for the post-mortem. Dugri SHO Neeraj Chaudhary said they have registered a murder case against the unidentified accused.
